Just nu pågår Prideveckan för fullt här i Stockholm. Under Prideparaden 2008 knäppte jag denna bild på ett gäng läderbögar, inklusive självaste Mr. Leather Europe 2007, Martin Cedergren.
Jag är själv väldigt förtjust i bilden och dess symbolik. Tankarna förs direkt till Delacroix målning av den franska revolutionen, ”Friheten på barrikaderna”. Till och med färgerna i läderflaggan är desamma som i trikoloren.

I absolutely love the work of photography Annika. I find it interesting relationship with Delacroix. This relationship is just because the name of this work is not ”freedom on the barricades” but ”Liberty Leading the People”. Freedom in question does not concern only the French Revolution but also all other forms of struggle for freedom. Congratulations Annika.
